A playful collision of documentary, fiction, and cosmic absurdity, somewhere between a social experiment, a village comedy, and a sci-fi fever dream. The second short in the “Researcher” trilogy, following After the Apocalypse, the film unfolds through improvisation as three researchers arrive in a Swiss village on a mysterious mission, interacting with real residents and blurring the line between performance and reality. Instead of imagining aliens as saviors or threats, it sends a lonely soul into the cosmos with nothing more than an invitation to a party. As the boundaries between researchers and locals dissolve, a Swiss carnival becomes a celebration of the unknown—and our strange desire to welcome it.
