Every year, Odyssey begins with a theme.
Not because we believe cinema should be defined by a single idea, but because a theme creates a starting point for conversation. It allows filmmakers, audiences and communities from different backgrounds to come together through a shared curiosity.
This year, that conversation is #Fashion.
Fashion is far more than what we wear. It reflects identity, culture, craftsmanship, memory and the changing world around us. Through cinema, fashion becomes another form of storytelling, revealing character, history and humanity.
At a time when the world often feels divided, Odyssey continues to choose themes not to separate people, but to connect them. A theme is never a boundary, nor a small club; it is an invitation. It encourages us to look at the same subject from different perspectives, reminding us that meaningful dialogue begins with listening as much as speaking.
We hope this year’s programme inspires audiences to think beyond style, and to discover how cinema can deepen our understanding of fashion, culture and, ultimately, ourselves.
