Bersærk: a Modern Saga about an Ancient Conflict

What happens when identity, isolation and imagination begin to blur? Bersærk is a playful mockumentary following Archie, a young British-Chinese immigrant living in Denmark who believes he is the reincarnation of Thor. Already experiencing exclusion because of his ethnicity, Archie finds himself pushed further to the margins by his newfound identity. Funny, strange and increasingly unexpected, Bersærk uses mythology and absurdity to explore something much more familiar: belonging, otherness, and the stories we create to make sense of a world in which we sometimes struggle to find our place.
