Dancing Shoes
舞鞋
This short film centres on a girl’s unwavering passion for dance and depicts her journey of pursuing her dream of becoming a professional dancer. Despite facing harsh realities—such as failing to get into a professional dance troupe and struggling to balance daily life with her love for dance—she never gave up her dedication to it. Instead of compromising, she turned every ordinary moment into her own “stage”. In the end, though she did not attain the “professional dancer” status she once longed for, this perseverance allowed her to shine with a unique and gentle radiance in life, conveying the theme that “the love for one’s dream is a success in itself”.
