Unfolding like a disjointed dream, two beautiful young men decide to travel to the Rue des enfants perdues - the road of lost children. The images are fuzzy and warm, reflecting the ambiguous flavour of a budding romance. The two seem to become closer over time, as they move through abandoned spaces in an inexplicably ghost-like town; and yet they never manage to realise their latent attraction to one another. This film portrays the simultaneously intimate and distant nature of a love that has not yet formed itself fully. Two lost souls travel through an empty world in an attempt to find and heal their lost inner children. As with many, if not all love affairs, they are forced to face the reality that they themselves are maintaining the barrier to pure, unadulterated care and affection.
