Director Statement

This is not a film about how to survive, but about why life is worth surviving for. More than a post-apocalyptic adventure, it is a philosophical journey that questions the very nature of civilization. The central conflict is not a simple confrontation between humans and AI, but a clash between chaotic, warm, and imperfect “humanity” and an absolute, cold, and flawless “divinity”, the ultimate form of AI.

“Death is not the end; forgetting is.” THE UNIVERSE BREW is conceived as a tribute to all those who have ever lost themselves in a poem, a fragment of history, or a glass of wine. It reminds us that although the beacon of civilization may dim at times, as long as the stories of beauty, love, and resistance remain alive in human memory, we can always rebrew hope from the ashes of time.
