In a big city are people who moved from different places aspiring for better opportunities. The father in this short is one of them: for his own career development and better schooling for his son, he leaves his home in Shandong and moves to Beijing. To blend into the social circle of Beijing’s elites, he has to take his son to lavish dinner gatherings and drinks in front of him. Is alcohol a magic potion for new friendships and connections, or, as his son learns in school, a creative catalyst for talented poets?
