We have an ideal, that food and travel are what connect people, just as cinema.
Therefore, we have chosen the festival theme this year to focus on “Food and Travel”. We look for those cinematic moments that have delivered a synthesis in the understanding of our relationship with the society and those common grounds among people.
Now in its 4th edition, Odyssey is the biggest film festival in the UK in conversation with Greater China and Chinese communities worldwide via a specific theme this year. We continue to innovate our curatorial philosophy, we are committed to inventing a new space for dialogue and constructive debate in the public during difficult times.
Odyssey is accredited by the British Council and recommended by Screen International.
