The Rocking Sky

1h 38m Documentary, War, History 2015

冲天

There was once a group of young men who could have bidden farewell forever with every take-off and had to thank God for every landing. They fought in the clouds, winning or losing in a heartbeat. They had to be fearless, and had no space to retreat. They were the last fighter pilots of the propeller era, and in front of their eyes were their enemies, and life and death, just as the noble duels in the 19th century. The documentary presents the love, glory, and survival of this group of young men against the backdrop of the Sino-Japanese War from 1937-1945.
