Synopsis According to a myth, there is a kind of bird that sings only once in its life. It spends its whole life searching for a thorn tree just to complete a great song.

Director’s Statement The Thorn Bird is an experimental short film in rock colour style. It absorbs nutrients from traditional Chinese patterns and Dunhuang art. The creation of the film innovatively combines ancient methods with modern technology.
