In pursuit of his dream to climb a snowy mountain, Yihui, a young urbanite, returns to his hometown after a long absence. Stranded by the loss of his trekking poles, he roams the town of his memories.

Feeling the pressure from the gap between dreams and reality, he briefly escapes the big city. However, as he reconnects with the townspeople, he realises that everyone is making compromises between dreams and reality. This realisation leads him to question what he is truly relying on in life. Although he retrieves his lost trekking pole, he chooses to hand it to a young girl instead. He hasn’t climbed the snowy mountain of his dreams, but he has embarked on a true journey. -Qi Wu.
